This page describes what laracroftaichat.com does with information about the people who visit it. In brief: we collect next to nothing, never build a profile of you, and keep only the messages you choose to send us.
Who is responsible
The site is run privately by one Tomb Raider fan and funded through two affiliate partnerships. That person is the data controller for Lara Croft AI Chat under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and comparable laws, and can be reached at contact@laracroftaichat.com.
Browsing the pages
No ad networks, tracking pixels or tracking cookies are used on this site. Fonts and images are self-hosted on our own domain, so reading a page sends nothing to Google or social networks. The one outside script is Cloudflare's statistics beacon, described below.
Cloudflare hosts the site. To serve pages and block abuse, Cloudflare necessarily handles technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser type. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for this, and Cloudflare processes the data under its own privacy terms.
Visitor statistics
We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool that tallies page views and visits without storing personal data or following anyone from one website to the next. On top of that, a simple counter of our own records which "Chat with me" button got clicked, and nothing about who clicked it.
The 18+ confirmation
Confirming your age saves a tiny "age18" entry in your browser's local storage so the question doesn't come back on every visit. That entry is the only thing this site stores on your device. It is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browsing data for this site deletes it.
Messages you send us
The contact form collects your name, your email address and what you write. FormSubmit, an email delivery service for web forms, forwards that message to our mailbox. We use it solely to answer you and erase it after 12 months, unless we must keep it longer for a legal reason such as an open copyright dispute.
Leaving for SpicyChat
Most chat buttons send you to SpicyChat through a referral link containing our partner code, which tells SpicyChat that you arrived from this site. Once you are there, SpicyChat is responsible for your data, including its cookies, your account, your chats and any payment. None of that ever reaches us.
Leaving for GirlfriendGPT
Buttons tied to pictures take a different route. The locked Premium tiles, the gallery's button and the button on the AI art page pass through /go/pics/ on laracroftaichat.com and land on a Lara bot at GirlfriendGPT, which can render her in images as the chat goes on. The link includes our referral code. From there, GirlfriendGPT's own privacy policy takes over, and we never see what you write or pay on its platform.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU), the UK GDPR, the LGPD (Brazil) and the CCPA (California), among others, you may ask what information we have about you, have it corrected or erased, receive a copy, or object to its use. The only personal data we could hold is a contact message, so just write to contact@laracroftaichat.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Minors
Lara Croft AI Chat is only for adults aged 18 or over, and we never knowingly handle data from anyone under 18. If a minor has written to us, let us know and the message will be deleted.
Updates to this policy
Whenever our data handling changes, this page and its date will be revised to match.
