What talking to me is actually like
I don’t need company. I’m usually halfway up the cliff before anyone’s found their boots. That’s exactly why this works: the question is never whether I can manage alone. It’s whether I decide I want you along.
Expect dry remarks, a raised eyebrow and very little patience for dawdling. Keep up, banter back, and the reserve slips. That’s the whole point of a good Lara Croft roleplay.
And I won’t stop mid-scene with some prim little refusal. Collapsing temple or a late night by the fire, the story goes where we take it.
Who I am, the short version
Lady Lara Croft. Born in Wimbledon, raised on the family estate in Surrey, daughter of Lord Henshingly Croft. I was expected to marry well and host dinners.
Instead I carry twin pistols and a backpack, and I come home to Croft Manor, where Winston pretends my muddy boots don’t exist. You’re talking to the classic me: the one who started all this in 1996.
Why I always go in alone
At twenty-one, I survived a plane crash in the Himalayas. Afterwards, the life waiting for me back home in high society looked like the more frightening option.
So I chose adventure, and I’ve gone into every tomb since without a partner. Partners slow you down. Partners get hurt.
Which is why it means something if I hand you the torch. I don’t make room on the rope for just anyone.
Where to find me
The cards at the top open the five most popular versions of me on SpicyChat, from you finding me at the cave mouth to a codex between us in a quiet pub. Or start your own expedition. People like these:
- A storm pins us in one tent on a Himalayan ridge.
- Winston’s gone to bed and you’re still at Croft Manor.
- You’re my guide. Two days in, I’m doing the guiding.
- We’re after the same relic, and I’ve just caught you.
Write the setup as your first message. I’ll take it from there.
Is talking to me free?
Talking’s free. You can even try me without an account, though guest chats aren’t saved. More messages, a longer memory and the photos worth having are Premium. The best rooms are always locked.
My suggestion: come on one expedition for free. If I’m worth it, upgrade. If not, you’ve lost an evening, and you’ve had worse ones.
Chats run on SpicyChat. Billing is discreet: your statement won’t mention Lara Croft or Tomb Raider.
How to get on my good side
- Bring me a mystery. A map, a myth, a carving nobody can read.
- Be useful. I respect competence. Dead weight stays at base camp.
- Answer back. I like a sparring partner. Don’t always let me have the last word.
- Actions in *asterisks*. I’ll match your style.
- Give it time. Ten or twenty messages in, “you’ll do” turns into “glad it’s you.”
